Yacht Detailing
How often should a superyacht be detailed?
For vessels in active use in South Florida waters, a full detail including compounding and wax is recommended twice per year, spring and fall. Weekly or biweekly wash programs maintain the finish between full details. Ceramic coated vessels require less frequent compounding but still benefit from regular washing and inspection.
What is the difference between compounding and ceramic coating?
Compounding is a corrective process that removes oxidation, surface scratches, and dullness from gelcoat or paint using machine polishing compounds. Ceramic coating is a protective layer applied after correction that bonds to the surface and repels water, fuel staining, UV damage, and environmental contamination. Correction restores the finish. Coating preserves it.
Can you detail a yacht while it is in the water?
Yes. We perform in water detailing for hull sides, topsides, deck surfaces, brightwork, and interior spaces. Certain services such as bottom work or full hull compounding are better performed on the hard but the majority of our work is completed dockside without requiring haul out.
How long does ceramic coating last on a yacht?
A properly applied marine ceramic coating typically lasts two to five years depending on the vessel's exposure, use frequency, and maintenance routine. Vessels kept in covered storage or used seasonally tend to see longer coating life. We use Gtechniq Marine coatings which are among the most durable and proven systems available.
Do you work on superyachts as well as smaller vessels?
Yes. We service vessels of all sizes from day boats and center consoles to large motoryachts and superyachts throughout South Florida. Our team has the products, equipment, and experience to work on the world's most demanding vessels to the standard their owners expect.
What is brightwork restoration?
Brightwork refers to the stainless steel, chrome, and aluminum fittings throughout a vessel including railings, cleats, windshields, and trim. Over time these surfaces develop oxidation, rust staining, and tarnish from saltwater exposure. We clean, polish, and protect all metal surfaces to a mirror finish using professional grade marine products.
Teak and Deck Surfaces
How do you clean and restore a teak deck?
We use a two step cleaning process to remove embedded grime, mold, and weathering from teak surfaces. The deck is cleaned with a professional teak cleaner followed by a brightening agent that opens the grain and restores the wood's natural color. A premium sealer such as Semco is then applied to lock in color and protect against future weathering.
How often should teak be sealed?
Most teak decks benefit from sealing once or twice per season depending on sun exposure and use. Vessels in constant South Florida sun may need more frequent attention. Regular maintenance prevents the deep weathering that requires aggressive restoration work.
Can a badly weathered gray teak deck be restored?
In most cases yes. Gray weathered teak can be significantly improved with professional cleaning and brightening. Severely damaged or cracked teak may have limitations but we assess every deck individually and give you an honest evaluation before any work begins.

What vehicles do you work on?
We work on all luxury and exotic vehicles including Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, and any other vehicle where the owner demands a premium standard of care. We also service luxury SUVs, collector cars, and high value daily drivers.
Can you apply ceramic coating to an exotic car?
Yes. Ceramic coating for automotive paint provides long lasting protection against UV damage, environmental contamination, and light scratches while maintaining a deep gloss finish. We perform thorough paint correction prior to coating to ensure the surface is flawless before protection is applied.
Service and Scheduling
Do you travel to the vessel or vehicle location?
Yes. We are a fully mobile service. We come to your marina, private dock, storage facility, or residence. For aviation clients we coordinate directly with your FBO or hangar operator to arrange access and schedule service around your aircraft's operational requirements.

We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly programs tailored to each vessel or vehicle. Ongoing clients receive priority scheduling and a single trusted point of contact for all their detailing needs.
