South Florida Is Hard on Your Vessel. We Fight Back.

Salt air, intense UV radiation, tropical humidity, and biological growth from warm water are the four biggest enemies of your vessel's finish in South Florida. Left unchecked, oxidation sets in within months, gelcoat becomes chalky and porous, and waterline staining becomes increasingly difficult to remove.

A professional full detail on a regular schedule is the most effective way to protect your investment, preserve resale value, and keep your vessel looking like it just left the showroom. Jason and Rich have been fighting South Florida's marine environment for over 30 years. They know exactly what your vessel needs and when it needs it.

We Detail Every Type of Vessel. Any Size. Any Condition.

From a 25 foot center console that gets fished hard every weekend to a 100 foot motoryacht berthed at a Fort Lauderdale marina, Land and Sea Detailing Inc brings the same level of precision and care to every job. We have experience with sportfish boats, express cruisers, sailing vessels, motor yachts, center consoles, and everything in between. No vessel is too small to deserve professional care. No vessel is too large for our team to handle.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a full yacht detail take?

A full detail typically takes between 4 and 12 hours depending on vessel size, current condition, and the specific services included. Larger vessels or those with significant oxidation may require multiple days. We will give you a realistic timeline when we assess your vessel.

How often should I get a full detail?

For vessels kept in South Florida saltwater, we recommend a full detail at least twice per year, with regular wash and wax maintenance in between. Vessels that are used frequently or stored in the water benefit from more frequent professional attention.

Do you bring all your own equipment and products?

Yes. We arrive fully equipped with professional grade marine buffers, compounds, polishes, waxes, and cleaning products. You do not need to provide anything. We bring everything directly to your vessel at your marina or dock.

Can you detail a vessel that has heavy oxidation?

Absolutely. Heavy oxidation is one of the most common conditions we encounter in South Florida. Our compounding and wet sanding process is specifically designed to cut through severe oxidation and restore the gelcoat to a high gloss finish. In extreme cases we may recommend gelcoat sealing as an additional step.

What is the difference between a full detail and a wash and wax?

A wash and wax focuses on cleaning and protecting the exterior surfaces. A full detail goes significantly deeper, including compounding to remove oxidation and surface defects, detailing of hatches, lockers, metals, and cockpit areas, and an interior refresh. It is a comprehensive treatment rather than a maintenance service.
